Aww, Day two of my new blog. Wow, there is a lot to learn in this blogging world! Thankfully Ashley knows what's she's doing and helps me out. I am still trying to figure some things out in regards to layouts, font's ect. but I am sure in time I will have it.  I only have a few followers right now because I haven't shared it yet. I think after this post I will share it to all my friends. 


I am so tired today..Babysat the most adorable 3 yr old this weekend.  She is the neice of one of Gary's soldiers that lives out of town and since it was drill weekend she needed someone to watch her. I have completely forgotten how much work it is to have a 3 year old! They have more energy in their nose than I have all together. She was really a pleasure to have but she wore me and Seth out!  


Gary home from Guard and the kiddo is gone. The house is so quiet and if it wasn't going to be bed time in a few hours, I would be napping!  I guess I should figure out something for dinner instead. 

So, I was talking my amazing husband a few weeks ago about how I really don't have any hobbies these days. I used to occupy my time with various different things..You know....like all the stuff a mom of a bazillion kids does. Laundry, Dishes, Homework, Dinner. (ok ok, for those that know me..Gary is really the king of all that!) Now that the kids are all so much older. Alyssa, Kenny and Rob all grown up and Ashley and Seth almost there. I find myself wondering what I can do. Is this the beginning of empty nest?

Well, I decided I would try to finish the scrapbook I started for Ashley's 13th Birthday..That has now become a High School Graduation present at this point! So..Gary and I found an awesome desk and moved it to our room for scrap booking..But now I need to locate the small amount of scrap booking I have acquired in a some boxes.

In the process of all of this, I decided I would also try my hand at blogging. I am not really sure how this will turn out but I am going to put in an honest effort so that all our friends and family have something to read and I have a new hobby.
